Completion of Grade 12 or equivalent.
Additional Required Qualifications:Must have completed Medical Office Administration or Medical Terminology course. Must have recent Diagnostic Imaging experience. Minimum 3 months recent experience in a hospital or medical environment, involved in booking, reception, and clerical duties. Must have proficient knowledge of computers and computer programs, including scheduling and booking platforms. Must be able to porter patients, including patient transfers. Must be able to cover all shifts as scheduled. Demonstrated ability to maintain a professional image, manage stressful situations with empathy and to remain calm, courteous, sensitive, and tactful at all times. Demonstrated ability to work independently. Skilled at paying close attention to detail. Ability to maintain strict confidentiality. Able to prioritize work and cope with frequent interruptions. Able to support emergency response situations as needed.
Preferred Qualifications:Cancer Care experience.
