Completion of Grade 12 or equivalent.
Additional Required Qualifications:Medical Office Assistant, Unit Clerk, and/or post-secondary education applicable to the position. This position will require you to sit/stand for prolonged periods with frequent movement including walking, extending, twisting, and turning. This position requires you to lift a minimum of 50 lbs. Proficiency in Medical Terminology, typing speed of 40 wpm, phone etiquette, and written and verbal English communication (Tests Administered).
Preferred Qualifications:One year experience within the last two years in a health care medical office setting or in the Admitting/Registration Department. Proficiency in Connect Care, Netcare, Person Directory, EMPI, Clinibase, eClinibase Scheduler and MS Office (Windows, Word, Excel, Outlook, MS Teams). Experience in patient/client scheduling.
