Required Qualifications:

Completion of Grade 12 or equivalent.

Additional Required Qualifications:

Proficient with MS Office Suite (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel). At least one year’s experience with ARIA, AXON and Connect Care/ EPIC. Within the last two years, experience with patient record management. Minimum two years administrative experience in a hospital or outpatient clinic setting. Experience working as an administrative assistant with Allied Health disciplines. Must have a customer-centered approach to service. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Must demonstrate initiative, creativity, good judgment, and competence in time management. Able to recognize confidentiality of patient information and other hospital information. Able to work independently in a directed setting and prioritize own workload. Able to work with multiple tasks in an environment with constant interruptions. Able to work as a member of a multidisciplinary team.

Preferred Qualifications:

Completion of word processing and computer courses. Experience with using Zoom and virtual health platforms including. Experience ordering equipment and supplies using Oracle/ Procurement, Grand and Toy and other online ordering software.
