Completion of Grade 12 or equivalent.
Additional Required Qualifications:Minimum one year experience in an outpatient or community health program setting. Able to work independently, but function as a team member. Must be able to communicate effectively, written, and verbally. Must be able to establish good interpersonal relationships. Able to organize and complete own work with emphasis on detail, accuracy and thoroughness. Demonstrates initiative to assist others with workload. Familiar with (HIA) Health Information Ace and (FOIP) Freedom of Information and Privacy Act. Familiar with word processing, fax, photocopying, computers, printers, communication systems (email internet, telephone, voicemail, telehealth, skype). Demonstrated competency in computer programs; MS Office Suite proficiency (e.g. Excel, Word). Manage various schedules by coordinating resources; appropriate timing and priority.
Preferred Qualifications:Post secondary education (e.g. Office Administration, Medical Terminology, and Unit Clerk). Manage calendars. Prepares and disseminates required documentation to support operational events (agendas and minutes). Responds to difficult clients/operational issues and complaints consistent with applicable processes, procedures and guidelines. Meditech, Epeople timekeeping, i-procurement, Staffing and scheduling.
