Your Opportunity:

Reporting to the Area Manager Seniors Health, under supervision of the Administrative Support IV. The Administrative Support II performs a variety of clerical functions to support the Seniors Health Home Care Program. Responsibilities include general secretarial and reception support, Maintains client records including filing of documents, archiving and destruction of discharged and deceased files onsite including document recording and packaging for Iron Mountain, Process documentation for requests for information under HIA, Tracking Education for staff, Data Entry and other duties assigned. In addition to a competitive rate of pay, AHS currently has a Remote Retention Allowance in place to an annual maximum of $3,000. This allowance is non-pensionable and is payable on an hourly basis for all hours paid at the basic rate of pay.

Required Qualifications:

Completion of Grade 12 or equivalent.

Additional Required Qualifications:

Completion of post-secondary education (e.g. diploma/degree in office of business administration, public health, community health) Required to submit a copy of a valid driver’s license, drivers abstract and have access to a vehicle with valid business insurance for use in the course of daily duties Experience in customer service including strong communication skills Experience Filing Willing and able to work independently and as part of a team Possess strong organizational/multi-tasking skills Proficiency in computer programs (Word, Excel, Meditech, ESP, E-people)

Preferred Qualifications:

Minimum 3-5 years related office experience. Experience working as part of an interdisciplinary team an asset Seniors health/home care experience an asset
