Required Qualifications:

A post-secondary certificate or diploma in human resources is required.


Additional Required Qualifications:

In addition, the incumbent will possess a record of accomplishment in the following areas: Excellent knowledge of computer software including Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with HRMS systems. Effective communicator with excellent organizational skills, client focused orientation and commitment to providing quality services. Approachable and willing to assist, combined with a strong work ethic. Professionalism and the ability to respond to changing priorities in a busy, detail orientated work environment are essential. Strong track record in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.


Preferred Qualifications:

A candidate working towards CHRP or other recognized designation is preferred. Previous experience in a human resources role ideally in an organization of significant size, complexity and diversity is preferred (healthcare and/or union environment experience an asset). Equivalencies of education and experience may be considered. Experience with administrative policies, procedures and standards pertaining to staffing, recruitment classification, employee and labour relations are preferred.
