Working Leader - Surgical Processing

Completion of an accredited Medical Device Reprocessing (MDR) program. Completion of an Healthcare Sterile Processing Association (HSPA) certification or Canadian Standards Association (CSA) certification.
Additional Required Qualifications:Proficient in SPM, Microsoft Office Suite Data Coordinator training is preferred. Excellent written and verbal communication skills as constant open communication (Person to person,vocera,phone) is always required by all staff working in MDRD and with teams throughout the hospital to ensure that issues/potential issues are addressed in a timely manner and instrumentation is reprocessed on time to support safe patient care. Minimum 3 years hands on experience working at all stations in the MDRD. Assist with loaners, trials and new instrument sets, ensuring performance qualification is complete prior to reprocessing. Monitor daily missing items using the missing items report in SPM and addressing missing instruments and implants, ensuring they are documented correctly in SPM and/or the ordering clipboard.
Preferred Qualifications:Capable and charismatic leader who is approachable, effective in motivating others, while continuously adhering to established policies and procedures. Strong ability to work under pressure, handle multiple priorities, meet tight deadlines, and able to adapt to changing needs throughout the day, without compromising quality and patient care,Monitor inventory, order instrumentation and Supplies. Perform and Monitor QA tests/process as per established procedures.
