Bachelor’s degree in information technology, information sciences, or related discipline or a mix of related training and experience.
Additional Required Qualifications:
Minimum 8 years of progressive Unix/Linux server technology experience in a large and complex IT environment; Minimum 8 years of experience with Red Hat Linux or IBM AIX; Minimum 5 years of Unix/Linux scripting experience; Minimum 5 years of experience leading and managing small to medium sized IT infrastructure improvement projects.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in a healthcare environment; ITIL and Unix/Linux related certifications; Experience with Unix/Linux high availability architectures and concepts; Experience with Ansible config mgmt., Zabbix monitoring software; Experience providing technical guidance and mentoring to junior team members; Experience with Linux containers.
