Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing. Active or eligible for registration with the College and Association of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CARNA). Current Heart and Stroke Foundation BLS Level C - Health Care Provider.
Additional Required Qualifications:
Minimum 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role (i.e. CNE, Nurse Clinician, Charge Nurse) in an acute care setting within the last 5 years. Proficiency using the following Microsoft Office programs - Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook.
Preferred Qualifications:
Master’s Degree in Healthcare or Business Administration. Renal specialty experience as a Registered Nurse. CNeph(C) qualification. Participation in or leading quality improvement projects. Leadership development courses. Quality Improvement certification (i.e. AHS AIW - Yellow Belt). Change Management certification (i.e. AHS PROSCI).
