Description:
Reporting to the Executive Director, Critical Care and Respiratory Services for the Stollery Children’s Hospital, the NICU manager is responsible for leading change management initiatives and driving continuous improvement within the unit. This role ensures alignment with organizational priorities and fosters a culture of collaboration, innovation, and patient-centered care. The Manager works closely with internal and external stakeholders to plan, implement, and evaluate strategies that enhance operational efficiency, quality, and safety. The manager will maintain open and timely communication with staff, patients, and leadership to ensure transparency and engagement. The roles and responsibilities of this role may evolve according to program priorities and growth.

Active registration and practice permit with the appropriate regulatory body (CRNA, CRTA or other). Graduation from a recognized Baccalaureate Nursing education or equivalent diploma/degree in health-related program. Minimum of 3 years of recent acute care experience, preferably in a pediatric or neonatal setting. Basic Cardiac Life Support for Health Care Providers (BCLS-HCP) certification. er information in this field.
Additional Required Qualifications:Strong understanding of effective change management, promoting collaboration, and conflict resolution. Demonstrated creativity, innovation, and ability to effect and sustain change.
Preferred Qualifications:Manager or project manager experience within previous 3 years preferred. Neonatal experience preferred.
