Member in good standing with the College and Association of Registered Nurses of Alberta. Baccalaureate of Nursing Degree required. 5 years current, relevant emergency nursing experience required.

Ability to articulate, promote and implement a management process based on program management with extensive delegation to staff. Ability to assess the effectiveness of programs and activities on the basis of quantifiable outcomes. Ability to maintain confidentiality at all times. Ability to promote quality improvement strategies and methodologies to staff. Ability to collaboratively resolve the allocation of resources and other conflicts with other members of the portfolio staff. Ability to function effectively within a dynamic work environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
Master of Nursing Degree an asset. Relevant nursing management experience in an emergency department an asset.
