Active registration and practice permit with the College and Association of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CARNA). BCLS- HCP required. Minimum 3 to 5 years of recent nursing experience required. The candidate must have the physical capability to perform all aspects of the role, including the ability to lift up to and including 50 lbs. Basic computer skills required. Strong leadership and critical thinking skills, demonstrated by the ability to direct other healthcare workers, problem solve and escalate clinical concerns in a timely and appropriate manner. The position requires strong oral and written communication and demonstrated organizational skills. Commitment to patient and family centred care and staff engagement. Demonstrated ability to maintain collaborative working relationships with patients, families and team members. Responsible to provide proof of active registration with the College and Association of Registered Nurses (CARNA) and to maintain registration throughout the duration.
