Unit Clerk - Urgent Care
Your Opportunity:
Not a 9 to 5? Neither are we. East Edmonton Urgent Care is growing and hiring a Unit Clerk who prefer evenings, nights, weekends, and work that makes a real difference. At this time, patient intake hours are Monday to Friday from 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM, and Saturdays and Sundays from 8:00 AM to 10:00 PM. While intake ends at those times, care often continues beyond intake hours, and some shifts may extend as late as 2:00 AM to ensure patients already in the clinic receive safe, complete, and uninterrupted care. Reporting to the Manager, you will play a vital role within a dynamic multidisciplinary team, helping keep the clinic running seamlessly while directly supporting the patient care journey. As the central hub of communication, you’ll connect health professionals, departments, patients, and families, ensuring information flows efficiently and confidentially at all times. From coordinating bookings and referrals to welcoming and guiding patients, maintaining accurate records, transcribing physician orders, and arranging tests and treatments, your work keeps everything moving forward. In this fast-paced urgent care environment, your ability to stay organized, adapt quickly, and confidently manage shifting priorities will shine. You’ll collaborate closely with the team, making a real difference in both the flow of care and the overall patient experience. If you thrive in an energetic setting where no two shifts are the same and your contributions truly matter, this is your opportunity to be part of a supportive, patient-centered team making an impact every day. Apply today.
