Completion of Grade 12 or equivalent. Completion of an accredited Unit Clerk Course or equivalent training program.
Additional Required Qualifications:Computer skills required. Must have excellent communication, interpersonal skills and the ability to prioritize and work within a strict timeline. Demonstrated strong organizational skills, attention to detail and accuracy required. Must be able to cope with frequent interruptions and work under pressure within a stressful, demanding and changing environment. Understanding of Medical terminology is essential. Individual must be motivated, self-directed and able to embrace change.
Preferred Qualifications:Previous hospital experience preferred. 1 Year current Unit Clerk experience or related experience. SCM and Clinibase knowledge and training. One year current experience in a Unit Clerk or related position preferred.
