Required Qualifications:

Completion of Grade 12 or equivalent. Completion of an accredited Unit Clerk Course or equivalent training program.

Additional Required Qualifications:

Minimum of one year experience in a Unit Clerk position (Emergency/Acute Care setting preferred). Basic typing skills and 1 year experience working with computers including applications such as Microsoft Office and Excel. Well-developed and demonstrated interpersonal skills. Ability to prioritize work and effectively work with frequent interruptions, noise and nearby distractions. Demonstrated interpersonal, communication (verbal and written) and organizational skills. An excellent attendance record, reliability, and personal suitability must be demonstrated through employment references.
