Completion of Grade 12 or equivalent. Completion of an accredited Unit Clerk Course or equivalent training program.
Additional Required Qualifications:Experience with Clinibase, SCM and e-Critical. Minimum 1-3 years Unit Clerk experience in a hospital setting. Good working knowledge of medical terminology. Must have excellent interpersonal skills. Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills. Must be able to work with frequent interruptions, noise and nearby distractions. Must be able to work in a stressful environment. Computer skills / experience required with a working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
Preferred Qualifications:Current Critical Care experience. Computer or business-related course. Customer service-related course.
