Completion of Grade 12 or equivalent. Completion of an accredited Unit Clerk Course or equivalent training program.
Additional Required Qualifications:Minimum of 1 year recent experience in a Unit Clerk position – preference will be given to those with experience in an IV Therapy Clinic. Basic typing skills, and 1 year experience working with computer applications such as Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.) and Netcare; preference will be given to those that are trained utilizing Connect Care, scheduling and EMR, in the Ambulatory Application.
Preferred Qualifications:Strong critical thinking skills, along with demonstrated time-management and organization skills in a fast-paced environment. Demonstrated ability to prioritize work, and effectively work with frequent interruptions, noise, and nearby distractions. Outstanding communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills. Well developed, and demonstrated interpersonal skills.
