Completion of Grade 12 or equivalent. Completion of an accredited Unit Clerk Course or equivalent training program.
Additional Required Qualifications:Knowledge of medical terminology. Demonstrated proficient computer skills (word, excel, ESP, SCM, Clinibase). Fluency in spoken/written English. Demonstrates ability to communicate effectively as unit reception. Demonstrated ability to work will with team members. Demonstrated positive and effective interpersonal skills required. Flexibility to meet staff needs/requests when required. Demonstrated ability to handle change effectively. Demonstrated ability to adapt to constant interruptions. Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask. Commitment to the care of adolescents though a family centered approach.
Preferred Qualifications:Mental health experience preferred. Previous In-patient experience preferred. Previous experience with mental health care settings is preferred.
