Completion of Grade 12 or equivalent. Completion of an accredited Unit Clerk Course or equivalent training program.
Additional Required Qualifications:Must have successfully completed a recognized course in medical terminology. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered. Demonstrated competency in Excel and Word required. Must type at least 55 wpm. Proven interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills. Excellent organizational, time management and interpersonal skills required as well as the ability to work under pressure with minimal supervision. Must be self-motivated and able to set priorities and meet firm deadlines. Ability to work as a team player in a fast paced environment. Able to recognize and maintain confidential information.
Preferred Qualifications:Experience with Connect Care and Netcare systems an asset. Accuracy and attention to detail essential.
