Bachelor’s degree in a health-related field or bachelors of arts in communication. Advanced written communication skills (educational and professional documents) and proficient both verbally and written in English.
Additional Required Qualifications:Aptitude for building and sustaining complex relationships with key internal and external stakeholders. Ability to use skills such as team building, negotiation and conflict management, and group facilitation to build partnerships. Anticipates potential challenges and comes up with solutions. Expert facilitation skills. Ability to manage and prioritize work and meet deadlines. Ability to work independently, set priorities and work simultaneously on a variety of projects and manage competing demands.
Preferred Qualifications:Combination of education and work experience equivalent may be considered. Experience as a volunteer or employment with youths (e.g. camp counsellor, youth day programs, youth leader). Experience with research and project management methodology and change management, SharePoint and Microsoft programs. Experience with managing effective collaborations, advisory/working groups, and steering committees, and demonstrated teamwork and team building skills, including multi-disciplinary teams.
