Required Qualifications:

A minimum of two years’ experience with payroll activities, including a working knowledge of payroll/time coding processes, terminology and systems, within an organization of significant size, complexity and diversity. A minimum of one to three years’ experience with creating and maintaining training resources and documentation, such as job aids, course materials and online resources. Ability to transpose complex payroll information into easily understood terms that supports various learning styles. Ability to build collaborative working relationships with stakeholders and colleagues to ensure effective communication and information sharing. Strong attention to detail focused on consistency, thoroughness, and accuracy in all aspects of the job, including being able to multi-task and prioritize.


Additional Required Qualifications:

Experience working in a shared services environment. Familiar with instructional design or course development, as well as training and change management methodologies. Demonstrated ability to facilitate effective training in a virtual setting. Professional writing skills and ability to produce high quality training and resource materials.


Preferred Qualifications:

Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and SharePoint is required. MS Visio, and MS Project is considered an asset. Experience with eLearning development and tools (Adobe Captivate) is an asset. Experience with year-end and full-cycle payroll processes, specifically in PeopleSoft. Technical writing and process documentation experience. Understanding and knowledge of Collective Agreements.
