Completion of post-secondary diploma in a related field.
Additional Required Qualifications:Must be eligible for appointment as a Community Peace Officer by the Province of Alberta. Must have high school diploma or equivalent. Related work/instructional experience may be considered in lieu of formal education. Ability to work well in a team environment. Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills. Effective communicator. Ability to work independently with limited supervision. Class 5 driver's License or non GDL. Must be able to stand/drive for long periods of time. Must be able to carry up to 40 lbs.
Preferred Qualifications:Ability to successfully interact with key internal and external agencies and stakeholders. Ability to maintain a high degree of attention to detail and accuracy in all aspects of work. Strong organizational skills. Strong knowledge of computer systems and applications, specifically Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, Excel, SharePoint, and Access. Experience teaching or instructing others is preferred.
