Completion of post-secondary diploma in a related field.
Additional Required Qualifications:Must be eligible for an appointment as a Community Peace Officer in the Province of Alberta. Related education or experience may be considered as an equivalency on a one-for-one basis (one year of education can substitute for one year of experience). Must have high school diploma or equivalent. Must have valid PARE. Ability to perform/facilitate low and high intensity physical training sessions. Work well in a team environment. Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills. Effective communicator. Ability to work independently with limited supervision. Class 5 driver's license or non GDL is required.
Preferred Qualifications:Solicitor General Control Tactics Instructor certification (CTI). Experience Teaching CPOIP, CSIT, SIT, or any Law Enforcement Induction Related Training.
