Required Qualifications:

Graduate of health sciences diploma or degree program, or related field.

Additional Required Qualifications:

Experience in tissue recovery, processing, preservation and distribution of human tissues for transplantation. Demonstrate comfort in working within an operating room/ clean room setting using proper sterile technique and appropriate personal protective equipment. Demonstrated ability to develop and implement effective solutions, including during critical, stressful situations. Demonstrated concern for detail and accuracy. Demonstrated good verbal and written communication skills. Demonstrated ability to work as a team member. Demonstrate ability to adjust to changes and to be moved to various task depending on the workload as required. Solid knowledge and experience with computer applications.

Preferred Qualifications:

Tissue Bank Specialist (CTBS) certification is preferred. Experience supporting validation of tissue banking/laboratory practices and processes is preferred.
