Completion of diploma from an accredited post-secondary rehabilitation Therapy Assistant program or equivalent training may be considered.
Additional Required Qualifications:Must to be a self-starter, life-long learner and have a high degree of accountability.
Preferred Qualifications:Experience in this field of practice will definitely be an asset, but training, orientation and mentorship is available. Experience with both Occupational Therapy and Physiotherapy is an advantage. Experience with equipment (mattresses, wheelchairs, walkers etc.) is an advantage, but once again training, support and mentorship is available. Computer skills in Word, Excel and potentially Meditech is an advantage.
