Completion of diploma from an accredited post-secondary rehabilitation Therapy Assistant program or equivalent training may be considered.
Additional Required Qualifications:Certification in Basic Life Support - Healthcare Provider from the Canadian Heart and Stroke Foundation.
Preferred Qualifications:One year experience working as a therapy assistant in a rural setting. One year of experience working as an occupational or physiotherapy assistant in homecare, outpatients or continuing care. Experience working with aids to daily living mobility equipment including wheelchairs and walker maintenance and client education preferred.
