Required Qualifications:

Completion of diploma from an accredited post-secondary rehabilitation Therapy Assistant program or equivalent training may be considered.

Additional Required Qualifications:

Two year Diploma from an approved Physical Therapy Assistant/Occupational Therapy Assistant program is required. Experience working as 2 or more of the following: PT assistant, OT assistant, SLP assistant, or Rec. T Assistant is required. Demonstration of strong clinical reasoning and judgment is required. Experience working in a collaborative interdisciplinary team is required. Recent experience working in an adult in-patient acute care setting is required. Heart and stroke CPR (BCLS-HCP) certification is required. Must be able to lift up to 35 lbs., assist in moving/transferring patients and tolerate wearing lead vest for video fluoroscopic studies.
