Required Qualifications:

Completion of diploma from an accredited post-secondary rehabilitation Therapy Assistant program or equivalent training may be considered.

Additional Required Qualifications:

Ability to prioritize and organize work assignments with minimal direction is required. Must be able to work independently with adults in their homes and community, and perform physically demanding activities applying appropriate body mechanics. CPR required. Vehicle for travel to clients homes required.

Preferred Qualifications:

Comfort with Outlook, Zoom/virtual therapy and Connect Care is an asset. Familiarity with Health Change Methodology is also beneficial. Previous experience working in a rehabilitation setting, home care setting, or with patients who have suffered a stroke would be a definite asset. Experience with speech and language treatments is an asset.
