Required Qualifications:

Completion of diploma from an accredited post-secondary rehabilitation Therapy Assistant program or equivalent training may be considered.

Additional Required Qualifications:

Current BCLS-HCP certification is required. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with demonstrated problem solving, planning and organizational skills are required. Must be able to prioritize workload and work as part of a team. Must demonstrate a strong patient/family centered approach to care. Working knowledge of computer applications including basic word processing, email and internet access is required.

Preferred Qualifications:

A minimum of 2 years’ experience working with neurological patients and patients with complex rehabilitation needs is preferred. Training and experience in implementing HeathChange Methodology™ principles is an asset. Experience working with Connect Care scheduling and/or EMR is considered an asset.
