Required Qualifications:

Completion of diploma from an accredited post-secondary rehabilitation Therapy Assistant program or equivalent training may be considered.

Additional Required Qualifications:

2 years experience working with pediatric and/or adult clients with complex medical conditions. 2 years experience working in a rehabilitation context. 2 year experience working with assistive technologies. Strong communication skills and the ability to adjust communication to suit recipients. Comfort with virtual communication modalities (videoconferencing, internet and email).

Preferred Qualifications:

Ability to work independently. Experience with program development to meet service and client needs. Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Comfort with innovative service delivery and an ability to problem solve creatively. Advanced knowledge of technology, computers, and environmental aids to daily living. Demonstrated understanding of Patient & Family Centered Care. Commitment to continual learning.
