Required Qualifications:

Completion of diploma from an accredited post-secondary rehabilitation Therapy Assistant program or equivalent training may be considered.

Additional Required Qualifications:

Postsecondary education in a recognized Physical Therapy Rehabilitation Assistant Program is required. Ability to prioritize and organize workload with minimal direct supervision and incorporate creative problem solving is required. Effective written, verbal, communication, and computer skills are required. The successful incumbent will be capable of performing lifts, transfers, repositioning, and other physically demanding activities associated with this role.

Preferred Qualifications:

Equivalences in education and experience may be considered. Previous working experience in a rehabilitation hospital is preferred. Experience with EMR/Connect Care considered an asset.
