Completion of diploma from an accredited post-secondary rehabilitation Therapy Assistant program or equivalent training may be considered.
Additional Required Qualifications:Experience in a therapeutic recreation setting required. Able to perform a high level of physical effort (60-70%) is required. Able to maintain a standing position with lifting, bending and/or rotation related to patient transfers or therapeutic intervention. Able to perform a high level of concurrent mental effort (70-80%) is required related to treatment activities.
Preferred Qualifications:Experience in a rehabilitation or clinical setting preferred. Experience with populations with neuro motor conditions an asset. Experience with e-clinician is an asset.
