Completion of Grade 12.
Additional Required Qualifications:Minimum high school diploma. Excellent communication skills and collaborative skills required. This position is anticipated to have high physical demands based on the client’s need. The successful candidate needs to be physically capable of pushing wheelchairs for an extended period of time, loading clients onto the bus for outings, supporting the clients in a range of physical hygiene tasks and performing client transfers over the course of a full shift.
Preferred Qualifications:Health Care Aide certificate or equivalent preferred. Related experience working with elderly or physically challenged individuals an asset. Previous experience working with Recreation in a medical setting will be considered an asset.
