Required Qualifications:

Completion of Grade 12.

Additional Qualifications:

A combination of education and experience will be considered. Awareness and ability to work in specialized and sensitive care environments. Demonstrated excellent verbal and written communication skills. Demonstrated proficient computer skills with current knowledge and experience. Ability to work well independently and within a variety of interdisciplinary team environments.

Preferred Qualifications:

Post-secondary certificate or diploma from a recognized Therapy Aid program is preferred. At least one year of experience in a healthcare setting is preferred. Previous experience with handling newborns an asset. Previous experience with newborn hearing screening an asset. Access to a vehicle and a valid driver’s license is an asset.
