Completion of a post-secondary education in a related trade or technology program.
Additional Required Qualifications:Ability to perform demand and preventative maintenance on building automation systems such as air handlers, VAV’s, pressure sensitive rooms (Operating rooms and Isolation rooms), gas detection, water treatment systems, boilers, chillers and maintaining the building automation system. Trades – Instrumentation/ Refrigeration/ Electrician/ Electronics Tech/ Automation Tech. Excellent communication skills. Computer skills/ networking skills. Ability to use hand tools and power tools. Proficient in the use of test meters and other diagnostic equipment. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Self-sufficient worker who can work alone, or as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications:Experience with automation software Honeywell ComfortPoint, CARE, Tridium Niagara N4 would be considered an asset.
