Required Qualifications:

Completion of a post-secondary education in a related trade or technology program.

Additional Required Qualifications:

Grade 12 Diploma. Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Mechanic certificate or Instrumentation and Control Technician certificate or Building Environmental Systems Technology diploma or Instrumentation Engineering Technology diploma or other related technical diploma is required. 5 years of suitable HVAC control systems experience is required. Suitable instrumentation maintenance and repair experience is required. Must be able to work in a hospital environment and work around traumatic events that occur in a hospital setting.

Preferred Qualifications:

Knowledge of energy management strategies is considered an asset. Basic understanding of Microsoft Office programs including Outlook, Word and Excel. Knowledge of indoor air quality testing, HVAC system troubleshooting and the ability to review drawings and specifications. Air balancing experience is considered an asset.
