Required Qualifications:

Completion of bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Technology or equivalent.

Additional Required Qualifications:

5+ years of telecommunications industry-related experience in a large, complex, multi-vendor environment. Expert level knowledge telecommunications systems at the Enterprise level. Expert level knowledge of Cisco Collaboration technology, principles, tools, and methodologies, as well as Cisco Certification in the Collaboration space. High level knowledge of Avaya telephony architecture and infrastructure. Working knowledge of telecommunications related applications, architecture, and design, including both on-premises and hosted deployments. High level understanding of Cisco based networks, and end-user devices. The ability to work independently in a high-pressure environment and adapt to change. Exceptional verbal communication and organizational skills. Ability and willingness to travel within the province to support both operational and project activities.

Preferred Qualifications:

Knowledge of other telecommunications architecture and infrastructure such as Mitel & NEC is considered an asset. Extensive people-collaboration experience: communication, negotiation, and problem solving. Proven experience in project coordination. Experience with the Microsoft applications: Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint.
