Required Qualifications:

A Bachelor's Degree in Business or a Human Resources related area supplemented by recent course work in Human Resources (i.e. negotiations, organizational effectiveness, conflict resolution) or a combination of education and experience may be considered. 5 Years of experience in Human Resources leadership role preferably in a unionized environment. Excellent coordination and project management skills. Previous consulting, coaching, facilitation, conflict resolution and problem solving skills. Excellent communicator - oral, written, presentation and report writing skills.


Additional Required Qualifications:

Knowledge of Human Resources Management areas including total compensation, recruitment, performance management, leadership development, WHS, etc. Ability to assess relative skill and competence level of team members and manage ongoing development. Demonstrated collaboration skills and ability to influence desired outcomes. Ability to identify opportunities for improvement and develop creative solutions. Requires a thorough knowledge of business processes and their integration with ERP software and other business processes and functions. Must have an advanced working knowledge of ERP and network applications.


Preferred Qualifications:

Comprehensive knowledge of collective agreements, policies, legislation, plans and processes and the ability to interpret and apply knowledge to identify alternatives and make decisions and recommendations. A professional designation i.e. CHRP preferred.
