IAM Team Lead responsibilities: Team Lead is responsible for assisting in support of contractors from IAM Development vendor. Managing vendor relationships thru weekly meetings to ensure IAM activities are aligned with contractual agreements. Works closely with management and IT Contracts & Negotiations, to complete RFPs and renewals. Actively participates in IAM Service vendor contract negotiations. Coaches, mentors and manages operational day to day business responsibilities of the AHS IAM team. Directs weekly IAM Leadership initiatives/operation plan for status updates to monitor progress against standard, timelines, plans and budget. Provides scheduled and ad-hoc IAM progress reports/updates to numerous internal and external stakeholders. Subject matter expert with specialized IAM knowledge. Responsible for numerous planned integration initiatives. Stakeholder responsible for representing IAM initiatives at the AHS and Provincial Change Advisory Board and other joint AHS/Alberta Health meetings. Works independently with guidance in only the most complex situations.
Additional Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree, IT industry designation or a minimum of 7 years of related experience. Exposure to Identity & Access Management software (preferably Oracle OIM product). Previous experience in an IAM Service functional capacity. Experience with vendor relations, RFPs & contract renewals. Demonstrate ability & comfort with decision making responsibilities. Ability to relay or explain complex issues or difficult situations. Thorough complex technical and business knowledge of the AHS IAM Service. In-depth knowledge of healthcare systems, processes, & corporate culture. Solid understanding of change management process implications. Understands how to communicate difficult/sensitive information tactfully. Excellent skills in negotiation, facilitation, & conflict resolution. Ability to facilitate change. Strong technical writing skills. Establish positive working relationships. Coordinate with different groups in setting & achieving AHS IAM Service objectives. Ability to foster relationships& partnerships with internal/external stakeholders. Ability to think strategically & critically. Effective communicator with strong organizational skills, influential skills, client focused orientation & commitment to providing quality services. Clear pattern of professional & personal development.
Preferred Qualifications:
IT experience in a healthcare environment with AHS. IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL) training. Knowledge of clinical business practices. Use of Information Technology systems in delivering health care according to clinical & business best practice. Ability to develop & facilitate presentations to convey information.
