Your Opportunity:

The Glenrose Rehabilitation Hospital (GRH), Alberta’s only specialized rehabilitation facility, is seeking a highly skilled and collaborative Lead, Site Initiatives. This role supports complex, high-impact initiatives that advance patient care, and operational excellence across the site. Working independently and collaboratively, the Lead anticipates needs, solves complex problems, and contributes to strategic and operational success.

Description:

Operationally leads Major Capital, Infrastructure Maintenance Program (IMP), and Site Specific Funding (SSF) in close partnership with Capital Management. Leads initiatives related to patient access, patient flow, accreditation, and balanced scorecard reporting. Leads site functions integral to providing exceptional clinical care and advancing clinical expertise. Works directly with patient advisors and clinicians. Provide leadership for equipment planning and lifecycle management, including capital equipment processes. Conduct research, analysis, and benchmarking to support evidence-based decision-making. Collaborate with internal and external partners to support project goals and maintain positive stakeholder relationships. Communicate project progress and outcomes through reports, presentations, and briefing materials. Provide change management leadership to support adoption of improvements. Support strategic and business planning for short- and long-term needs. Co-leads educational supports for patients and caregivers.

Required Qualifications:

Degree in a health-related field (Master’s preferred). Active registration and good standing with the applicable regulatory college. Minimum 5 years recent healthcare experience in specialized rehabilitation. Minimum 5 years leadership, change management and project experience. Expertise in program planning, quality initiatives, and program evaluation. Strong analytical and data skills, including spreadsheet and database use. Excellent communication, organizational, critical thinking, and decision‑making skills.


Additional Required Qualifications:

Ability to work independently and prioritize competing demands. Strong clinical judgment and ability to solve complex problems. Experience collaborating with diverse stakeholders across programs, committees, and provincial teams. Demonstrated change management, communication, and engagement skills. Experience preparing briefing notes, reports, and presentations. Experience with budget monitoring and capital equipment processes.


Preferred Qualifications:

Rehabilitation environment experience. Project management, organizational change management, and quality improvement experience. Experience providing functional leadership to interdisciplinary teams.
