Completion of an accredited Medical Device Reprocessing (MDR) program. Completion of an Healthcare Sterile Processing Association (HSPA) certification or Canadian Standards Association (CSA) certification.
Additional Required Qualifications:Must be fully competent with Steris steam sterilizers, cart washer, Synergy washer/disinfector; and ARC Endoscopic sink and Medivators. Must be proficient in navigating Sterile Processing Microsystem, SPM Must have min of 400 hrs of practicum experience. Wear department PPE. Must be able to work in confined areas. Able to work through multiple interruptions. Must read, comprehend, write & speak English fluently. Basic computer knowledge, of Workforce, OR Manager and Smart Track. Must not have skin allergies. Must be service oriented, reliable and pay attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications:Standard or Emergency First Aid Certificate preferred.
