Required Qualifications:

Completion of Grade 12 or equivalent. Experience in health care procurement and shipping/receiving processes.

Additional Required Qualifications:

Computer skills including: Data entry, MS Word, Excel, Vax, Oracle (P2P), MS office, Inter/Intranet navigation is required. Knowledge of research tools, procurement, inventory control and maintenance processes for operating rooms is required. Working knowledge of WHS Standards, i.e. WHMIS Safety Data sheets, CSA Standards and Health Canada Guidelines is required.

Preferred Qualifications:

Ability to comprehend medical terminology and interpret specific requirements for equipment and supplies required. Working knowledge of clinical and minor procedure equipment for minor troubleshooting. Understanding of Infection Prevention. Understanding of customer relations role with respect to service orientation and conflict resolution. Ability to read, write, speak and comprehend instructions given in English. Excellent interpersonal skills necessary to interact effectively with management.
