Your Opportunity:
As the Registration, Switchboard, Patient Information (RSPI) Supervisor Southwest Zone you will be responsible for leadership of Registration, Switchboard, Patient Information (RSPI) operations in multiple sites, you will hold a key leadership role in RSPI and will report to the Manager, RSPI South Zone. The position is responsible and accountable for making unit-level decisions and having direct leadership responsibility for contributing to the achievement of the goals of RSPI, and promotion of an environment that aligns with the AHS values and fosters quality improvement and a culture of safety and excellence. You will be expected to demonstrate innovative, motivational and progressive leadership and be experienced in change management. You will also demonstrate leadership at a site level supporting with strong collaboration with staff and demonstrate excellent analytical and decision-making skills.
Description:
You will be required to help problem solve and support front line, participate in scheduling staff with accordance to departmental policies and provisions outlined in the Collective Agreements, and assume the lead and responsibility for recruitment, retention, hiring, coaching, mentoring, and performance management of staff. You will accurately manage and monitor budget expenditures and identify requirements for labor, supplies, and equipment, promoting and facilitating the development of staff. You will demonstrate a creative approach to the modified workflows, practices and processes in an organization of significant size.

Diploma or equivalency in Business Administration Management. A minimum of 3-5 years in a management/supervisory capacity ideally in an organization of significant size, complexity and diversity.
Additional Required Qualifications:A demonstrated clear pattern of professional and personal development. Effective communicator with strong organizational skills, influential skills, client focused orientation and commitment to providing quality services. Leadership skills, including demonstrated ability and comfort with decision making responsibilities, coaching and teaching, and the ability to inspire and build confidence in others. PROSCI certification. Ability to manage human, financial and physical resources within an operating environment. Excellent analytical and decision-making skills. Ability to organize and manage short and long term plans and projects specific to registration and patient information processes and services. Experience in using electronic health information systems.
