Minimum of 3 years in a Food Services management role, ideally within an organization of significant size, complexity and diversity. Post-secondary degree, diploma or certificate in Nutrition and Food Service Management desired. A combination of relevant education and experience will be considered.
Additional Required Qualifications:
Ability to follow and apply established Diet Guideline in the execution of menus and patient choice. Considerable leadership experience in a health care environment desirable. Education must be accompanied by demonstrated leadership ability, excellent communication, interpersonal and team building skills and the ability to handle multiple demands concurrently. Demonstrated ability in hot and cold production and retherm. Ability to work in a unionized environment. Proficiency with computer applications and software in a Windows 10 environment, as well as use of Microsoft Office (Word/Excel/Email) and Teams. Effective communicator, have excellent problem solving skills and possess excellent time management and organizational skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Healthcare experience is an asset. Familiarity with CBORD, ESP, RMS and Connect Care is an asset. Serveries style service and cell tray assemble experience is an asset.
