Required Qualifications:

Post secondary degree, diploma or certificate in Nutrition and Food Service Management. Equivalencies of education and experience may be considered. Proficiency using Microsoft Office - Outlook, Work, Excel, Power Point. Minimum 2 years direct supervisory experience in a Food Service Supervision role of significant size and complexity.

Additional Required Qualifications:

Leadership experience in a food service based industry involving hiring, scheduling and directing work of assigned employees. Experience in unionized environment. Proficiency with AHS computer applications e-People, Meditech and Oracle. Demonstrated ability to schedule work, assign resources effectively and think critically in a multi-tasking operating environment. Demonstrated ability to manage an operating budget.

Preferred Qualifications:

Proven organizational, time-management, and decision-making skills. A demonstrated clear pattern of professional and personal development. Must be an effective communicator encouraging active listening, providing clear instructions and inviting feedback. Ability to prioritize and to implement new approaches and process improvements using change management techniques.
