Completion of Grade 12 or equivalent. Physically capable of frequent heavy lifting and moving of objects up to 40 kg. Physically capable of pushing and pulling heavy carts up to and occasionally exceeding 275kg.
Additional Required Qualifications:Handling of med/surg supplies and knowledge of inventory. Computer literacy, particularly with a Windows environment with a working knowledge of Microsoft Office. Recent experience using Oracle P2P system. Knowledge and understanding of aseptic techniques. Recent supervisory experience in inventory and material handling in a hospital environment. Considerable knowledge of computerized inventory systems and barcode technology. Ability to read, write and comprehend English. Attention to detail. Able to communicate effectively.
Preferred Qualifications:Certificate of training in Transportation of Dangerous Goods and training in Workplace Hazardous Material Information Systems. HRSS e-people 100: Timekeeping Basics Part 1 (Online). HRSS e-people 115: Timekeeping Basics Part 2.
