Completion of Grade 12 or equivalent. Must be capable of pushing and pulling heavy wheeled carts up to and occasionally exceeding 275 Kgs. Must be capable of walking and or standing for long periods of time. Must regularly use hand and arms to reach, lift, and carry heavy items up to 25 kg.
Additional Required Qualifications:Must be able to read, write and speak English. Ability to demonstrate mathematical competency in relation to costing, weights and measures, metric conversions, required. Demonstrated ability with computerized technology in a warehouse environment: spreadsheets, database management, word processing, required. Must be capable of understanding and accurately following complex and detailed instructions. CSA Certified Safety footwear is mandatory for this position.
Preferred Qualifications:Preference to applicants that have current experience utilizing the inventory modules under VAX. Preference to applicants with current experience utilizing both the Receiving functions and Inventory management modules under Oracle. Preference to applicants that are familiar with AHS Site Services support policies and procedures.
