Completion of Grade 12 or equivalent. Must be capable of pushing and pulling heavy wheeled carts up to and occasionally exceeding 275 Kgs. Must be capable of walking and or standing for long periods of time. Must regularly use hand and arms to reach, lift, and carry heavy items up to 25 kg.
Additional Qualifications:Must be competent in a computerized windows environment. Must have current and relevant inventory management experience /education. Must be capable of frequent heavy lifting and moving of objects up to 25 kg, must be capable of pushing /pulling heavy carts up to and occasionally exceeding 275 kg. Must be able to read, write and speak English. Ability to demonstrate mathematical competency in relation to costing, weights and measures, metric conversions, required. Demonstrated ability with computerized technology in a warehouse environment: spreadsheets, database management, word processing, required. Must be capable of understanding and accurately following complex and detailed instructions: possess high standards of accuracy; be detail orientated requiring minimal supervision; reliable; possess strong interpersonal/Customer Service skills, working safely and maintaining confidentiality
Preferred Qualifications:Preference will be given to applicants that have current experience utilizing the inventory modules under VAX and Receiving functions under Oracle and are familiar with AHS Site Services support policies and procedures.
