Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology. Active or eligible registration and practice permit with the Alberta College of Speech Language Pathologists and Audiologists (ACSLPA).
Additional Required Qualifications:Recent (within the last two years) clinical experience in a pediatric rehabilitation setting. Knowledge, skills and experience in complex pediatric communication disorders. Knowledge and experience in hearing services including but not limited to cochlear implant assessment, treatment and intervention approaches. Knowledge and understanding of pediatric development and conditions (e.g., acquired developmental disorders, neurodegenerative diagnoses) Knowledge and experience in neurological conditions, rehabilitative service. Knowledge of tertiary rehabilitation service delivery. BCLS-HCP certification.
Preferred Qualifications:Knowledge, skills and experience in pediatric feeding & swallowing. Knowledge of instrumental swallowing evaluations (e.g., FEES, VFFS). Knowledge of community resources and programs. Knowledge of and experience with Augmentative & Alternative Communication. Knowledge and experience in hearing services including but not limited to cochlear implant assessment, treatment and intervention approaches. Hanen certification.
