Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology. Active or eligible registration and practice permit with the Alberta College of Speech Language Pathologists and Audiologists (ACSLPA).
Additional Required Qualifications:Basic Life Support - Healthcare Provider Level C through Heart and Stroke. Experience with adult dysphagia. Experience working in an adult acute inpatient setting as a SLP. Independent performance of Modified Barium Swallow studies/ Videofluoroscopic Swallow Studies.
Preferred Qualifications:>5 years of experience working in an adult acute care setting as an SLP. Experience with clinical software including Connect Care, Netcare and Nuance PS360 (dictation). Completion of the Allied Health Therapies ILT. Experience working with: Therapy Assistants, adults in an outpatient clinic setting, adults who have neurological conditions. Experience working with patients who have communication disorders, including speech, language and cognitive communication. FEES training and competencies.
